Tutu Qi & MeThe Tutu Qi and Me Community program includes qi gong exercises and healthy eating education that focus upon balancing and strengthening the body’s organs. This helps to enhance the immune system, circulatory and respiratory systems, and strengthen the energy of the whole body. The Tutu Qi and Me program contains exercises that are designed for grandparents and children to do together. Tutu and keiki have similar health needs that correspond to the benefits of the 5-Animal Forms. While mimicking each animal with their individual sounds and movements, one assumes the characteristics of the animal. These sounds and movements will stimulate energy to target specific muscle groups and internal organs to strengthen organs, heal the body, and balance emotions. There is also a fun song with which everyone can join in and sing along. This is a fun, playful, and effective way for Tutu and keiki to learn about their bodies, benefit their health, and bond. The Tutu Qi and Me program was developed with the Partners in Development Foundation and Master Hong’s Natural Healing Research Foundation. This program traveled throughout the islands of the state of Hawaii and was taught to hundreds of school children. Now it is available as an educational book and music CD so that Tutu and keiki can practice together at home. |
